There are many ways to lead and be a good lead. One thing that stay consistent though is caring about people. All leaders that are good leaders have know that it is the people that matter and connecting with these people. Here we will talk about getting connected.

Know their talents-know the talents and abilities of those in your team know what they are good at. Sometimes someone has much high skill set then we know and taking time to learn about them lets us position them well.

Know about them- learn about their life outside of where you lead (if it is a job outside of the job). What do they do for fun? Do they have a family, and what is their family like? Learning these things can take a good amount of time but can build a great level of relationship with this person.

Help them grow- encourage growth and help prosper grow. As a leader should inspire their team to be able to do more than they thought they could.

Encourage open thinking- get them to open their mind and creativity. Let them participate in making decisions. When they give their ideas take them serious. Let them know that you will use some of the ideas, but may not be able to use all of them. Make them know that you are grateful for what they share.

Leaders should be people focused. Know the members of your team/followers, know their talents, and know who they are. Help them use their knowledge, help them do more than they thought they could. This what a good leader does, they help those that look up to them become more then they thought they ever could.

Be a true leader, and find ways to help other become more. Leaders do not lead businesses they lead people know this and do it well, people will want to follow you when they feel you care. They will stick with you when they feel you help them to be more than they thought they could be.
